Ask any question and I will use my divine knowledge to answer it for you mortal meat bags. And I mean that in the nicest way. :D

If you have questions about the industry, my projects, writing--whatever they may be--feel free to ask me here and I'll do my best to answer.

Okay... who's first? Mwahahaha!

I like this one too, except that it's kinda narrow, everything's uppercase AND quotes for some reason are black on black background... actually they're on dark grey, but I had to turn down brightness on my old CRT screen cause otherwise it overheats...

Other than that it's the same system as used by the image boards (and loads of other places). Heh, even smileys are the same :)

Why the move anyway?

And how will this affect the T-Shirt design contest?

I moved over here because I left Shadowline. I decided to make the move to help my good buddy George Singley get his publishing company off the ground. :)

Argh! I really need to start a thread for the contest. :?

What a surprise! Couldn't believe it when I read your post that Jim had banned you from the Image Forums, Dwight. Jealousy? What is up with that? Does this affect your current stuff? Poo 2? M-Theory? Please discuss what you can, man.

And it occurs to me... Um... wasn't someone from Image recently talking about Exclusivity to one company in fairly disparaging terms?

I can't speak for Jim, but I will say that I don't bear any ill will toward Jim or Kris. I enjoyed working with them, but as the proverb says, "all good things must come to an end." Besides, opportunities to get in on the ground floor with an exciting new publisher don't come along every day, ya know! :)

Honestly, I don't know what the statuses of Poo Book 2 and M-Theory are. I'll let you know as soon as I know.

As to exclusivity, I've always felt it was better not to keep all your eggs in one basket. I've got some stuff coming up with other publishers as well, so I'm going to continue to follow that philosophy.

But I DO consider Chimaera my new home. :)

Glad to hear it was an amicable split, anyways...

and... well, I'd like to get in on the ground floor with ANY publisher, so I certainly don't begrudge you that!

Watching and learning...

Well, I sure hope Poo 2 and especially M-Theory are still coming out. I've been looking forward to M-Theory a lot. :)

Man...can't believe Dwighthulhu has stopped working for Shadowline! That makes me less interested in them for sure. And it makes me want to learn more about Chimaera Comics!

Aw, come on, man, Bomb Queen is still awesome. So is Cemetery Blues. And I'm still looking forward to Dear Dracula.

Well, to tell the truth, I read the first issue of Bomb Queen (at the Image Comics website) and it just wasn't for me...

I do like Jimmie though. He's funny (on the message boards & such). I also really want to read his book Derail. That sounds like it will be really good!

As for Cementary Blues, I agree. I still plan to check CB out when I get the chance. As for Dear Dracula, it looks ok.

Honestly, I was mostly there, at the other boards, cause of Dwight. I like his books. And that got me interested in Shadowline a bit. Now that he's not part of Shadowline anymore, that makes me less interested in their books. That doesn't mean I'm not interested at all in their books, just less interested.
