Welcome to the Blaze Anderson section of the forum.

The book is co-written by George T. Singley, and me, with art by Alessandro Ceccarelli.

Blaze Anderson: Cosmonaut! is a science fiction book that takes place in the present day. The initial concept for this book started with the idea that someone like Flash Gordon, or Buck Rogers, was a real guy in the 1930's, and through the years the identity (and rocket ship) of this man has been passed on to others. George and I shaped this idea, added a bunch of other cool ideas, and built it into a book that thrusts the reader into incredible adventures in space, and into the history of the men who became Blaze Anderson.

Our story begins with a new man assuming the identity (or more accurately having the identity dumped on him) of Blaze Anderson: Cosmonaut! It’s a four issue mini-series composed of four, self-contained, 22 page stories.

We invite you to come journey with Blaze Anderson, and his sentient rocket ship Perpetua, into the vast and endless expanses of the universe.

Blaze Anderson: Cosmonaut! Is slated for late 2008...and the price point is $3.95

This sounds like a fun book. Am I correct in assuming from the concept that this will be an adventure/comedy?

Definitely no comedy in this one….these stories are straight sci-fi action adventures.
