What is ONUS?!?

Nice forum! Let me break the cherry...
When are we going to hear more about ONUS?
The only thing i could find is it's latin for "burden"
(I like a good "inner-turmoil" storyline).

Zig, my BROTHA!!! Thanks for coming over and bustin' the cherry on my little forum here. It warms the deepest, darkest recesses of my heart!

ONUS is set in the Chimaera Superhero Universe, and is the story of a former U.S. Marine who is injured while stationed in Afghanistan and given an Honorable Discharge from service.

He carries around a lot of guilt and anger and frustration which takes him to the breaking point... until he comes into contact with an ancient artifact from a long gone race of beings which gives him tremendous power. But is it a power he wants to accept? What are the consequences of turning your back on such a power? And what else has awakened along with this power...?

I'm working with a Brazilian artist named Salaza on the book. Preview art will be posted soon!

You'll recognize the idea because it's one I was developing with you a while back that kinda stalled out...

Anywhooby, nice new place you got here! Let me tell you, I've had the pleasure of reading Onus Issue 1's script and it. is. AWESOME!!! You're all in for a real treat! And the art looks awesome so far too! I really think this is going to be one of your best yet, dude!
